Why “Happy Veggie Gardener”?

I’m Cindi, that’s me on the right with my mom, Noelia, on the left. This photo is from her birthday two years ago which also happened to fall on Thanksgiving - our first Thanksgiving (and her first birthday) in Florida. ☀️

Truth be told, I shamelessly admit I kind of threw my mom into making this gardening project online. 😏

For over a decade, people have told her (and I) she should start a blog. She has a passion for gardening and has learned soo many invaluable tips and tricks along the way from making mistakes of her own and she LOVES sharing them with others to help them with their gardening.

It’s soo much fun watching something grow from nothing and come to life, and the complete joy in her eyes and watching her light up when she talks about her plants is even more life giving.

So one morning, on impulse, I dove in and created the accounts for her, including this blog - and it’s become our project ever since.

That same morning, in a joyful daze, she said, “sometimes I just look at my plants. I checked on them an hour ago and they just make me so happy”

And I’m certain your veggies and your garden make you happy too. Your garden is your happy place.

That’s why we’ve called this community Happy Veggie Gardener. 😊
